Having spent a good year with it, however, a few nagging problems did show themselves, including how tedious the grand campaign could get by the time the Warriors of Chaos started showing up. All the races played differently enough to be really distinctive, and the overall gameplay felt streamlined without feeling too dumbed down. It’s difficult to believe that it has a little over a year since the release of Total War: Warhammer, and as you can see by my Should You Buy and IGN’s review, we all loved it.
